NORTHEAST OHIO SPOTLIGHT

The Lemon Rind the Mower Missed

Poetry by Patrick Culliton
That lay there a week and endured
three storms. That has bent north
through two quality bouts of anxiety.

That Walter says looks like the sun
fell down. That remains one of the few
things in which worms have no interest.

That is a metaphor if you're hungry.
That doesn't wear a t-shirt that says
"It's All Good." That was tossed

shoulderward as she said, "Turn it up"
and landed as we did.
