Colette Parris is a Caribbean-American attorney who returned to her literary roots during the pandemic. Her work can be found in Michigan Quarterly Review, Scoundrel Time, The Healing Muse, Cleaver, MoonPark Review, South Florida Poetry Journal, and elsewhere. She is a three-time Pushcart nominee for fiction, and three of her poems have been nominated for Best of the Net. She lives in New York.
